About This Item
James Nisbet and Co., 1876. Hardcover. Good. . Second ed, stated. Unique navy blue full leather binding with gorgeous gilt lettering and floral embellishment on front board. Boards thick, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles. Raised bands on spine. Spine is faded but still looks nice on a shelf. Some scuffing to front board but would still look nice facing out. Bumping/scuffing to back board. Marbled endpapers. Foxing throughout, but the plates are still vibrant and the foxing is mostly to the overlays. Binding sturdy.
