London: Hurst and Blackett, 1867. 1st Edition . Good Plus. 6 x 8.75 inches (15 x 22.5 cm). Publisher's red cloth binding, bevelled board edges, illustrated in gilt to front board. Rebacked with original spine overlaid. Light marking to boards, slight wear to corners. Marking to endpapers, chipping to edges of front free endpaper, stain to edge of outer margin of first few pages. Occasional spots and small marks to text, a few pages have been carelessly opened. Complete with all plates, foxing to tissue guards, one tissue guard creased and torn. Inscriptions to upper margin of title page and to preface page. A good solid example. Overall condition is Good Plus. Size: 6 x 8.75 inches (15 x 22.5 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: xi, 359
