Collectible first edition, first printing of Western author, Boys Club of America gold medalist and international P.E.N. president Stephen Holt's tale of Des Harmon's wild Palomino, Rocket. "FIRST EDITION" so stated on copyright page. Inscribed and signed by Holt on half-title page. (Note that Holt signatures are near impossible to find.) Signature unconditionally guaranteed to pass any COA examination. W. C. Nims illustrations throughout. Includes scarce dust jacket with $2.00 price intact in archival Brodart sleeve. 151 pp, 8 1/4" x 5 3/4". Tight, otherwise unmarked copy with minimal shelf wear. Minimal chipping to dust jacket.
