Kernville, California and Henderson, Nevada: Ardis Walker and Roy E. Purcell, 1979. First edition. Hardcover. Fine. Two volumes. Illustrated by Roy E. Purcell, partially in color. First edition, #68 of 500 sets designed by Roy Purcell and printed by Grant Dahlstrom at The Castle Press. As one of the first 110 copies, each volume contains an original etching hand-pulled, numbered, and signed by Purcell. The first volume is signed by both Walker and Purcell; the second volume is signed by Purcell and inscribed by Walker. Also, laid in is a printed Christmas poem from Gayle and Ardis Walker. Oblong quarto. Original linen bindings, with decorative brown stamping. A fine set, housed in the publisher's slipcase. Signed by Author.
