Macmillan Company, 1941. Hardcover. Acceptable. Inscribed and dated by the author on April 10, 1941. No dust jacket. Brick red/orangey cloth boards. Black titling on front and along spine. Previous owner name marked out on front fly leaf page. Edge-worn and bumped corners, and dented spine ends. The glue along edges of pastedowns has darkened considerably and the FFE and rear end-page are darkened as well, especially at gutter. Very light foxing on text block. Age-toned pages. Sewn binding remains in sound condition. 250 pages.
