London: Macmillan and Co, 1874. Hardcover. First Edition, First Impression. 5.5 x 8.75in. xii. 385pp. Publisher's pebbled cloth boards with gilt titling. VERY GOOD. Shows the extremities marginally shelf rubbed, the front and back hinge have been repaired, former owner bookplate of the front paste-down, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
