London; George Newnes, 1968., 1968. Hard Cover. FIRST EDITION. Small octavo, pp. 184. With black and white illustrations throughout by Thomas Henry. Bound in emerald green publishers' cloth with gilt cover titles, and gilt titles and William ornament to spine. With the crimson illustrated publishers' dust-jacket. Boards slightly bowed, and light scattered foxing to ffep and fore-edge. Contents are tight, clean, and free of ownership inscriptions and annotations. Clipped dust-jacket is lightly soiled with minor wear and creasing to extremities, colours are bright and vivid. Overall, Very Good in Very Good jacket. The penultimate title from Crompton's much loved Just William series. With twenty-one charming illustrations by Henry Ford.
