Cobden-Sanderson , 1938. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. RARE in original period illustrated dustwrapper. NO CHIPPING & NO SPLITTING to CLEAN boards. Some dusting to topedge of closed textblock. Internally CLEAN with NO INSCRIPTIONS. TIGHT textblock. NO LOOSE & NO MISSING leaves. The dustwrapper is present with tiny chip to top margin of rear panel of wrapper. Normal wear to wrapper extremities with a 4" closed tear to topedge of front wrapper panel which has old clear tape repair. NOT PRICE CLIPPED. Some darkening to wrapper spine. This title is from a large part of the inhouse Private Library of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association of Great Britain (NODA) which we recently purchased from the institution; there is a NODA bookplate to front blank endpaper & a small old shelf label toward foot of wrapper spinet. Great Provenance. .
