London: Walter Scott, 1882. Half-Leather. Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Large folio edition of this work. This is the third Series (of 3 folios). Black leather with dark cloth covers, marbled page edges. The gilt on the spine is faded, some spots of leather loss at the board corners, some thin cracking at the spine edges- weakened a bit at the top of the rear spine edge, the hinges are in reasonably good order. The pages are tidy, foxing to the endpapers and a few spots on the title. Pages; (6), 769, (1). With 10 sheets of folio plates (includes 4 views; of Glen Rosa in Arran, Loch Fad, Loch Awe, Corra Linn/ Falls of Clyde. Circa 1880's.
