About This Item
Iola, Wisconsin: Krause Publications, 1991. Revised Edition. Leather-bound. Very Good Plus. Quarto. Navy blue leather with center photograph of four Winchester level action rifles fromed to front board, on red background. Gilt lettering. A wee bit of shelf-rubbing to top of spine, and a few minor discoloration spots to rear board. Loaded with pictures, diagrams, old advertising, historical details of both weapons and accessories, and a plethora of lore, this is the go-to resource for this classic American rifle - famous for simple operation, good looks, and durability. The authoritative guide to the history of this gun, and the marque. The author labels this: "First Edition Revised", so it must therefore be a later (second?) printing.
