About This Item
First UK Edition/First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Very Good PC dust jacket. SIGNED by the author directly to the title page. A handsome copy of the somewhat elusive first UK edition of this classic WWII work (particularly signed). This copy is in near fine condition with only minor crimping to the spine ends and faint soiling to the text block; housed in a crisp and clean very good price clipped dust jacket that shows some light rubbing to the edges, a faint water stain to the lower panel edges, and a couple of pieces of invisible tape repair to the verso spine ends. Overall, a highly presentable and collectible copy; Not remaindered, not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
Synopsis
Follows the various members of the Henry family as they become involved in the events preceeding America's involvement in World War II.
