About This Item
William Morrow and Comapny. hardcover. Very Good/Unclipped. 9x6x1. Stated first ed.; first printing according to printer's key; 639 p., clean and unmarked anywhere on strong paper only mildly age-toned; inlaid tanned newspaper article left no mark on ochre end pages; many fascinating period photos; binding tight; clean burgundy boards with clear gilt lettering and stamped escutcheon have light bumping of corners and slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine despite the best efforts of the glossy photographic d.j., itself with slight rubbing at upper edges, small closed tear at crown of spine panel, and a tiny closed tear at upper corner of front panel. This is a negative view of what is termed a "nightmare" marriage.
