About This Item
London: Collins, 1950. Reprint hardback edition. No DW. Covers worn and some damage to front end-papers. Bottom edge unevenly cut by publishers. Otherwise a sound tight copy internally, but the abovementioned faults make this a reading copy only. 384 pages including maps. An interesting true story of disillusion at the end of the Second World War which echoes the fictional account by Evelyn Waugh in the 'Sword of Honour' trilogy. .
