About This Item
A Winning Hazard by Mrs. Alexander, D Appleton first edition in 1896; a beautiful book with marbeled paper on the cover and brown leatherette. There is some scuffing to the marbled paper, it cld be touched up with gold and blue pen but i won't do it unless you ask, or you cld do it yourself or leave it as is, i hope youcan see the condition in the photos, that is really the only flaw, there are not even bumped corners to this very old book, the spine has gold letering and decorations. Inside the book is like new old stock, pages tanned but all clean and tight, except for the very charming penciled owner name on the ffendpaper and title page which i have not removed, it is done so prettily, you just know if was done in 1896 or thereabouts.
