Winterbook: Africa (Vintage erotic comics photocopies)

[Stanton Archives], 1994. Very Good Plus. Vintage erotic comics, photocopied proof pages in lush color, 9 leaves, featuring Stanton's trademark B/D/S/M illustration, full-page panels. Proof pages sent to Offutt to work on the story, initially produced for subscribers to Stanton's mail-order erotica business. Here specifically are panels from an unseen title, "Africa," part of the Stanton/Offutt collaboration of digest erotic series, Winterbooks (eponymous w/ Offutt's oft-used pseudonym, Turk Winter) & clearly capitalizing on interracial "taboo." Buxom blondes are captured by Black & Brown men, seemingly for the purpose of torturous, breeding leisure. All leaves show page numbers, being 1, 6, 17, 24, 37, 48, 51, 54, 56, all also bear Stanton's signature & date (1994, 1996), indicating a lengthy progression of production for just one title. Near Fine overall. Full-color, single-sided, glossy, 8.5 x 11 inches, 1/2-inch borders, signatures & page numbers original only to the photocopied artwork, not these proofs. Somewhat erotic, slightly pornographic, totally weird. Photos on request, a few panels are show in b/w but all are color proofs. For mature, consenting audiences.
