Edel & Laurence A81; BAL 10699. First Impression, a review copy, with embossed "Review Copy" lozenge at upper title page. Octavo (20.5cm); bluish-black cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine and front cover; dustjacket; [10],11-118,[2]pp. Spine ends nudged, light wear to lower corner tips, with some mild rippling to cloth; contents fresh; Near Fine. In the original dustjacket, priced 6/- net at lower spine, and measuring half a centimeter shorter than the book (as with all copies we have seen); gently spine-sunned, lightly edgeworn, with a few tiny nicks and tears at spine ends; Near Fine.
