Philadelphia: Prime Press, 1948. First Edition . First Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Near fine book in a Very Good Dust Jacket. Signed by the author on the half title page. Additionally signed and inscribed by Ray Bradbury, who provides the instroduction. Bradbury adds in his own hand "from his friend and admirer". Includes a signed post card from Bradbury to the recipient of the inscripton in 1989. First book from Sturgeon. Illustrated by L. Robert Tschirky. Introduction by Ray Bradbury.
Synopsis
Without Sorcery is a collection of science fiction and fantasy short stories by author Theodore Sturgeon. The collection was first published in 1948 by Prime Press in an edition of 2,862 copies of which 80 were specially bound, slipcased and signed by the author and artist. The stories first appeared in the magazines Astounding and Unknown.
