Brown Eps , Ffeps Beginning To Crack Near The Tail, Rear Eps Cracked Along The Gutter But The Boards Still Well Attached. Very Minor Foxing, Handling Wear. Tile Page Not Dated So Not A First Edition However, There Is A Publishers Advertisement In The Rear And Some Of Henty's Book Are Mentioned, None After 1890 So Assumed Date Is 1890. Twelve B/W Illustrations By Gordon Browne.. Green Boards With A Gilded Picture Of Wolfe On Horseback On The Front And A Native Indian On The Spine. Bumping And Rubbing To Most Edges And Fraying To The Spine Ends. Green Block Edges.. The Front Board Has Some Faint Handling Marks And At Some Time A Small Amount Of Liquid Has Leached Some Of The Colour. (About The Size Of A Quarter) Extra Shipping May Be Required.
