Description:
Venus Library, 1972. Paperback. Light shelfwear; small chip to top edge of cover. Very good. 246 pp. Introduction by Jacques Desroix. Reprint of a Charles Carrington title; of one of several flagellation novels written pseudonymously by Georges Grassal (1867-1905), who also wrote as 'Hugues Rebell', 'Marius Moisson', and 'Gustave le Rouge'. Grassal is best known, perhaps, as the author of THE MEMOIRS OF DOLLY MORTON, a flagellation novel set against the background of the American Civil War. LA FEMME ET SON MAITRE seems first to have been published, in French, in 1902. V1097R.
