About This Item

New York: The Rand School of Social Science, 1921 WYSIWYG pricing--no added shipping charge for standard shipping within USA. Mauve pebble-grained cloth, gilt titles on front board, 208, [5] pp, footnotes, index. Rebound thus, originally side-stapled, presumably in wraps. This is very near fine except for tearing at gutter and around the staple holes of the first few leaves; bookplate on fpd. Rather than a history of the labor movement per se, this is a view of American history from the bottom up: "It is my own conviction that a general knowledge of the historical evolution of the American working class; its subjection to various forms of economic servitude in the colonies; its social and economic life at various periods of American history; its splendid achievements as an organized force in the three decades following 1828, and its subsequent history, would give the modern workers a historical culture that would add to their discipline and solidarity and enable them to march to the front as the most intelligent and progressive working class movement in the world." Shipping weight 1 lb.. 4th ed. . G+/No dj. 18½ X 13 cm.

You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order.
