Octavo, viii, 900pp, [2]. Full tan calf, school emblem embossed in gilt on front cover. Bound by Baker & Son of Clifton. Four raised bands, title in gilt on morocco label. Marbled edges, matching marbled endpapers. Silk bookmark sewn in. Solid text block, faint sunning to spine, rear cover slightly bowed. Frontispiece portrait protected with tissue guard. Prize from Clifton College affixed to front endpaper, signed by Headmaster Michael George Glazebrook and awarded to H.W. Tomlinson in 1898.
