Dublin: printed by John Exshaw,, 1784. Subjective idealism First edition, first issue, containing all of Berkeley's major works. This Dublin issue precedes the London issue of the same year, which used the same sheets with a variant title page. The biography of Berkeley which is prefaced is a revised version of Joseph Stock's Account of the Life, 1776. Two volumes, quarto. Uncut in 19th-century boards, recently rebacked and recornered in blue pebbled cloth. Portrait frontispiece in vol. I, 2 plates in vol. II of which 1 folding. Light foxing, chip at head of vol. I leaf 4M1 not affecting text. A very good copy. ESTC T142562; Keynes 142.
