London: J. and R. Tonson and S. Draper / Mr. Fenton, 1744. Later edition. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo. [17], 2-295, [3], iv-clxviii pp. Contemporary calf with the spine in six compartments, a maroon morocco label lettered in gilt on the spine, a green ribbon bookmark bound in; all edges speckled red. Illustrated with a copper-engraved frontispiece portrait of Waller, with two additional engraved plates, a folding numismatic plate in the rear of the volume, and with engraved head and tailpieces and initials. The front board detached, the spine and rear joint heavily rubbed, the free front endpaper detached but present.
