Volume I: [xii], [1-3], 4-530, [531-532] blank; The Wars of the Jews, with a foreword by Charles F. Pfeiffer, and an illustrated Appendix on "Josephus and Masada" by the same author. Volume II: [ii], [1-3], 4-557, [558] blank; The Life of Flavius Josephus; The Antiquities of the Jews, Preface plus Books I-VIII. Volume III: [vi], [1], 2-525, [526-538] blank; The Antiquities of the Jews, Books IX-XVII. Volume IV:  [vi], [1], 2-538; The Antiquities of the Jews, Books XVIII-XX plus Against Apion; an Extract out of Flavius Josephus Discourse to the Greeks Concerning Hades [considered spurious]; Appendices; Index to the four volumes. Condition notes: very good plus, with light soiling to top edges, rolled head spine end to Vol III, interior unmarked. Bindings all solid and square. A handsome set of this classic work of one of the foremost historians of Antiquity, who lived between about 37-100 A.D. this four volume set will require additional postage due to weight - please inquire.
