Slight suggestion only of dust-dulling and rubbing the spine bands and panel edges, although there is some chipping evident to the spine bands of vols. 11 and 12. Minor bumping to corners. Dust-toning to boards in places, with surface stain evident on the spine cover of vol. 11. Light foxing to the prelims. of some volumes. Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong. Provenance: From the library of Victor D. C. Wakeford with his armorial bookplate to the front pastedown of each volume.
