Ten octavo volumes. (Measures 5 1/8 x 8 1/4 in; 130 x 210 cm.). Each volume with a black and white frontispiece by M. Rooker and J. Collyer.

Beautifully bound in contemporary brown morocco, decoratively ruled in gilt, spines decoratively stamped in gilt with five raised bands, gilt turn-ins. Marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Edges bumped and bit of shelf wear, otherwise a very good and early set.
