First edition thus. 12mos. Complete in twelve volumes. Gilt decorated floral elaborate in five compartments. Tissue guards and red silk sewn bookmarks present and look undisturbed. Illustrated by Herbert Railton and E.J. Wheeler. Spines exc; somme ends chipped, very good set. C Vol. 1 and 2: J. Andrews, Vol. 3, 4, 5, and 6: Tom Jones, Vol. 7, 8, 9: Amelia, Vol. 10: Jonathan Wild, Vol. 11 and 12: Miscellanies.. Complete. "Bound by Blackwell" subtly printed inside first blanks.
