Only 750 copies of this edition have been printed for sale, 250 of which are reserved for America. Each copy numbered, this copy #445. Texts tight, clean & intact. Top edge gilt. Complete in 19 volumes . Marbled endpapers. A biography of the author (b.1667-d.1745) by Laing Purves. Volume #1 with engraved portrait frontispiece and one additional plate. Chapters decorated with ornamentat headpieces & tailpieces. Armorial book plate, helmet over shield bearing name "Cragwood. " Volume 10, lower spine label missing. Volume 13 has a small leather chip on spine. Over all, except as noted, this set Is very good +. Rare Section; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
