About This Item
New York: Walter J. Black Incorporated, 1924 Book. Fine. Hardcover. F/NJ One Volume Edition, presumed First Edition, no date listed. This 1004 page red leather hardcover is in Fine condition, a high quality antique collection from a classic author. The boards are square, with (very) slight shelf wear at sharp corner. The red leather covers and strong, straight spine are embossed with designs of leaves and ornate borders, as well as a shield on the front cover containing the gilt name of the author to match gilt titles and designs along the spine. All 1004 pages are intact and unmarked. One small sticker (1/2 inch by 1 inch) bearing the price of 50c on back flyleaf. No Dust Jacket. Rudyard Kipling gives life to the world of his imagination with a keen ability to tap into the timelessness of the collective conscious. His stories and poetry, all contained within these pages, speak in his unique voice of a universal desire to understand and relate to all around us. This book is a gem, free to be cliche as all the most potent are, a diamond in the rough. .
