Original full calf, rubbed and worn, hinges a little weak, internally good. Set of four volumes; Volume One includes frontispiece illustration of the author, poems on several occasions, Rosamund an Opera with an engraving showing a scene from the play, Cato a Tragedy with an engraving showing a scene from the play, The Drummer or the Haunted House a Comedy with an engraving showing a scene from the play, Dialogues upon the Usefulness of Ancient Medals, with illustrations of the medals. Volume Two includes Remarks on Several Parts of Italy in the Years 1701, 1703, 1703, and articles from The Tatler and The Spectator. Volume Three includes articles from The Spectator. Volume Four includes articles from The Spectator and The Guardian, The Present State of the War, the trial of Count Tariff, and articles from the Whig-Examiner and the Free-Holder.
