London: Smith, Elder and Co, 1876. Reprint. Original Cloth. Very Good/No Wrapper. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. No Illustrations. 389pp. This is volumes VII of the Works of Miss Thackeray published in 1876. Bound in original attractive brown cloth binding with gilt embossed lettering to the spine and vignette to the front board. There are bumps to the head and tail of the spine and the board corners are a little rubbed and lightly turned in. Slight fading to the spine strip. Previous booksellers sticker to the top corner of the front paste down. There are some unopened pages - one page has been forced open with loss to the margin of the page - no loss of text. Light scattered foxing to the fore edges and to the first and last few pages of the book. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
