Tissue-protected frontis. Speckled edges to text block. Condition of books is GOOD+; Spines worn and scuffed, torn badly. All labels missing, cracked front hinges, though binding is sound. Chips, scuffs on covers, corners worn. Front hinge broken except Vol 4. Cover of Vols 1 and 3 is detached. Upper text block darkened. Owners name in ink and date, 1867, on front paste-down. Entire spine missing to Vol 3.
