Tight and attractive facsimile reprint of the two volumes of the third edition (London: The SydenhamSociety, 1843 and 1850). A volume in the "Classics of Medicine" facsimile series. English physician Sydenham (1624-89) was the most highly regarded medical man of 17th century England, known as "the English Hippocrates.
