Boston New York: Houghton Mifflin, 1911 This book was previously one of the many books in the Hamilton Theosophical library and has been well read over the years. It has a library pocket on the front verso and a date stamp paper strip on the ffep, the library stamp is on both pages. There is also a library pocket on the rear verso and a date stamp paper on the rear fep as well as the library stamp on both pages.The half title page is loose, the title page attached and the second contents page is loose. All pages are present however.The book is sadly shaken but the boards are still attached although the sewn binding is visible at the gutter crack by the half title page and the first chapter page. The text is still very readable. Maroon cloth covered boards with gilt tile on spine, Text block top edge is gilt. A first edition in a well read condition!
