About This Item
New York: Houghton Mifflin, 1945. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. This book has the same date on the title page and the copyright page. There is no price on the jacket but there is no deboss on the back cover. So, probable first edition, first printing with turquoise cloth cover and red text. Spine tight, boards rigid, tips pointed. Slight foxing to cover around top front cover and tips. Slight fading there as well. Previous owner bookplate and signature on front free endpaper. Dust jacket is colorful, with no price stated and has loss around top and spine and slight wear here and there and frey/loss at some edges especially at bottom spine. Looks jaunty in a new plastic cover. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping. .
