About This Item
New York: Simon and Schuster, 1971. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A revelatory set of essays on Orwell, by numerous contributors (see Table of Contents), profusely illustrated throughout its 182 pages. CONDITION: The securely-bound (overall Very Good) book is a bit worn on the top and bottom cover edges and corners, but the interior is bright, unmarked, and uncreased. Lacking its original dust jacket, I have fashioned a simple Fine tan replacement jacket with titling on the spine and front panel - now in a clear mylar (removable) protective cover. An attractive copy. [NOTE: Because of the item's weight, an additional shipping charge will be necessary for International and other than standard Media Mail Domestic orders.]
