About This Item

Four volumes in very good condition. Some staining of unknown origin on the edges opposite the spine, mainly on Volume 2. Pages, binding fine. As described on the title page: "A small library of the literature of mathematics from A'h-mosé the Scribe to Albert Einstein, presented with commentaries and notes by James R. Newman." If you have an interest in the history of mathematics and its place in the modern world (as of 62 years ago), this set is for you. Somewhat rare.

This book will ship at over seven pounds. Rather than ask for a shipping adjustment at the time of purchase, I have opted to add a small shipping surcharge to the list price. This set is not available for international delivery.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost.
