About This Item

London: Ernest Benn Ltd., 1926. First editions of each volume in Wells' longest novel. Octavo, three volumes, original cloth. Presentation copy, inscribed by H.G. Wells in the year of publication on the front free endpaper of the first volume in the series, "Walter H. Parker H.G. Wells Oct. 1926." Each volume is very good in a very good dust jacket. Rare and desirable inscribed by Wells and in the rare original dust jackets. This novel, the longest of its year, deals with a hero whose attitude of mind is very close to that of the author. It includes an attack on the education of the day, especially that being offered by the older universities, and an important section on the theory of world revolution" (Wells, 96).
