Small folio (11" x 14"), cloth with leather corners, rebacked (somewhat crudely) with brown cloth tape, illustrated 164 pp. Covers almost detached, held firm by Mylar type cover, wear to extremities, endpapers a little stained or soiled; internally generally nice and clean. This is a very attractive volume on the History of railroad technology. The story begins in the late 17th century and continues through the mid 1890s. Profusely illustrated with very charming text illustrations.
