About This Item
Heinemann, 1946. Hardback. Good/No Jacket. Netta Aldington. First UK edition hardback, 1946, with no jacket. In overall good condition - original illustrated cloth boards are soiled and corners slightly bumped. Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations or inscriptions - owner's name neat to ffep; tanning to prelims but text and charming illustrations clean and clear throughout. From a private collection, not an old library book. Aldington's memorial to war-damaged San Gemignano, including translation of the poem Garland of the Months.

About Hall of Books
We sell secondhand books and sheet music online and offer an eclectic (perhaps eccentric!) selection ranging from modern first edition hardbacks and quality paperbacks to the interesting, unusual and rare; the hard-to-find, collectable and out-of-print....and a lot more in between! We do our best to describe and photograph our books and music accurately, and to package them securely when they sell. We do not rely on stock images. If you need more information on a particular item, or if we have not yet uploaded a photograph for a particular listing, please contact us and we will respond by return.
