Twenty-five octavo volumes. (Measures 8 x 5 in.). Original half maroon morocco over maroon marbled boards, elaborately decorated in gilt on spines with five raised bands. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Illustrated with frontispieces and engraved plates throughout, each with a descriptive tissue guard. A few corners with wear. Overall, a very good set with a contribution by her husband.
