About This Item
New York: Random House, 1993. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. The author held a Ph.D. in nuclear chemistry at the time of publishing this fine memoir of political intrigue and false accusations; he spent 33 years in prison. It's an enormously deep and compelling story of a man who was unbelievably resilient in fighting to get back his good name and come out alive. White paper over boards, white cloth-backed, with "D.E.F." stamped in gilt to front cover, gilt lettering to spine. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, little worn, protected in a thin Mylar jacket. Very slight wear along bottom edge, faint remains of perhaps a remainder mark, maybe not. 400 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
