Original grey cloth spine; grey paper covers printed in black and gilt. Cover title and gilt emblem of the Architectural League; back cover has ad for Babcock & Wilcox Co. steam boilers. Inside back cover has ad for cast ferrocraft grilles by Tuttle & Bailey Mfg. Co. Features the work of many architects, designers, artists, and landscape architects including: Ivan Mestrovic; Malvina Hoffmann; Cass Gilbert; Hildreth Meière; Alfred C. Bossom ("Restoration of the Great Pyramid at Tikal, Guatemala"); Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue; Holabird and Roche (interior view of the Apollo Theatre, Chicago -- demolished in 1989); Albert Kahn (Ford Motor Co. engineering laboratories, Dearborn, Mich.); Clara Fargo Thomas; Reginald Marsh; Lauren Ford; George Harding (decoration, Earle Theatre, Philadelphia); Samuel Yellin (screens for Federal Reserve Bank, N.Y.); Stepan de Kosenko; Georg Jensen (silver bowl); Janet Scudder; Harriet W. In Good+ Condition: light stain along lower edge of front cover; minor loss at ends of spine; cloth is starting to separate along joints; closed 2-cm. tear from upper edge of front cover and first 5 leaves; "1290" stamped on first (blank) leaf; otherwise, pages are clean and tight.
