Washington DC: United States Government Printing Office, 1931. Hardbound. GOOD. READING COPY 5th volume in the series. Opening essay on "The Drought of 1930". Pages 3-6 have separated from binding, but are present. Pages yellowed, mostly along edges. Has some foxing to pages. Flyleafs very tanned. green cloth exteriors. No dustjacket. Chip in spine in the word "agriculture". 1113 pages. 6x9x2" Includes vital agricultural statistics from 1930, when severe drought hit much of the US Great Plains in late summer. It was late enough in season to cause losses, but not yet catastrophic losses.
