Includes detailed information on various programs used to try and stabilize agricultural sector including loans, livestock buy backs, dept relief, changes in practice to try and stop soil depletion, crop and livestock breeding, and relocation of farm families. Includes some info on new (at the time) menace of Japanese Beetles and the spread of Dutch Elm disease,
