First edition, eighteenth printing, October 1936, as stated on the copyright page. Published by Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston. Winner of the 1931 Pulitzer Prize for Novel (Fiction). Measures 5.5" x 7.75", 581 pages. The book is in very good condition. The black cloth boards are well preserved with some light discoloration and gently bumped corners. Rubbing and staining to the spine with frayed edges. Toning to the gutters. The textblock is gently toned, clean, bright, unmarked, and complete. The binding is sound.
