New York: Brentano's, 1920. First Edition. Full leather. Very good. Harry Clarke. (1920). Smalll quarto (8" x 10.75"), full blind stamped leather with gilt spine title and title embossed on cover, with embossing imitating clasps. Top edge gilt. 127, (1)pp. 12 color and 12 in black and cream plates by Clarke. Many tailpieces. The plates are all clean and bright. There is a thumbprint size stain in the margin of page 52, not affecting any illustration or text. The corners and fore-edge are a little worn, but the head and tail and spine are sound and undamaged. A stunning piece of printing with illustrations by Harry Clarke.
