London: John W. Parker and Son. Good+. 1859. Fourth Edition. Hardcover. Blindstamped maroon cloth with title and publisher in gilt on spine. Yellow endpapers. With a new preface. Inscribed by author on endpaper: "John Strange Esq. With the author's kind regards as a remembrance of Eversley August, 1859". Not sure about the Esq after the name, might be something else. Half inch split to the top rear joint at the spine. Bottom rear edge bumped, with a small cut. Speckling to the covers. Crack between the verso of the title page and the preface. Verso of last endpaper, last endpaper and pastedown have scenes drawn in pencil, with the initials G. V. W. D. Written to the top corner of the pastedown. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; xx, 353, 3, 6, 4 pages .
