Washington: Department of the Interior, 1906. First edition. 27 x 25 inches, printed with color borders. This is a revised border recommendation published just a few months after the commission's original recommendation that added the Big Tree Grant (Mariposa Grove) to the park. An attractive and detailed topographic view of Yosemite National Park including roads and trails, plus dotted lines representing trails suggested for "adequate system," and water ways colored in blue. Shows portions of the surrounding Mineral Lands and Stanislaus Forest Reserve. Identifies major spots including the Big Trees of Mariposa Grove, El Capitan, Half Dome and the rest of Yosemite Valley, county lines, Hetch Hetchy Valley, etc. Fold lines (as always). An excellent copy.
