About This Item

New York, New York, U.S.A.: E P Dutton, 1987. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The lies, passions, and dangerous obsessions of a 1950s upstate New York family. First printing and stated "first trade edition" with correct full number line sequence. The book appears to be unread, and there is no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. The textblock edges are moderately foxed/soiled, and there is a slight bit of puckering and very light staining to the pages characteristic of water damage, but this is not immediately noticeable. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and is in fairly remarkable condition with very little shelf wear and no tears, but there is some creasing to the jacket flaps. This collectible, very good, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
